Thanks to Sunday School Staff
We had a great meeting last Sunday morning. Akaloo is a success and we will continue this online curriculum next year. Teachers and leaders are doing a great job but need everyone’s help. Every member, with and with out children, please consider teaching a class next year. You will receive as much as you give. Our kids are great, but they need affirming adults who can walk beside them on their faith journey. Speak with Amber.

A little humor (courtesy of Maureen Kennedy):
Each Friday night after work, Bubba fired up his outdoor grill and cooked a venison steak. But, all of Bubba's neighbors were Catholic and since it was Lent, they couldn't eat meat on Friday.
The aroma from the grilled venison steaks caused such a problem for the Catholic faithful that they spoke with their priest.
The priest came to visit Bubba, and suggested that he become Catholic. After several classes and much study, Bubba attended Mass, and as the priest sprinkled holy water over him, he said, "You were born a Baptist and raised a Baptist, but now you are a Catholic."
Bubba's neighbors were greatly relieved, until Friday night arrived, and the wonderful aroma of grilled venison again filled the neighborhood. The neighbors called the priest who rushed into Bubba's yard clutching a rosary prepared to scold him. But he stopped and watched in amazement.
There stood Bubba, clutching a small bottle of holy water. As he spinkled the grilling meat with the blessed liquid he chanted: "You wuz born a deer, you wuz raised a deer, but now you is a catfish."
